This is a permanent part-time lifestyle assistant opportunity for a motivated professional to join our St Paul\'s Terrace residential care home, located in Frankston VIC 3199. As a lifestyle assistant you make a difference to the lives of residents, their families, and the staff that help support and care for them. It\'s a great opportunity to combine a passion for interacting with our older community and utilising your strong administration skills. Some of your duties will include:

• Coordinate the provision of recreational and social programs that enhance the well-being of our residents
• Maintain records of recreational and social programs - includes the design, details of resident participation and program evaluation.
• Assist each resident in accordance with the lifestyle plan document
• Ensure all programs meet both residents' needs and accreditation standards
• Engage residents and encouraging them to be part of their local community
• Assist with meaningful and enriching activities that provide choice to each person

To be successful on this role you will need:

• Certificate III / IV in Lifestyle and Leisure
• NDIS Clearance
• Demonstrated understanding of the cognitive, social and spiritual needs of the residents and their families
• Empathy and an ability to build strong connections with residents and their loved ones
• Honesty, helpfulness and dependability – making you a great asset to the team
• Creativity and experience in coordinating and providing recreational and social programs, ideally in an aged care environment

• Not-for-profit salary packaging for $15,800 per year for general bills and expenses, plus an additional $2,500 for meals and entertainment - offering you more take-home pay with less tax
