**National Course Manager Position Overview**

The role of National Course Manager is a crucial position within our organisation, responsible for overseeing the delivery of Diploma level courses in Community Services, Mental Health and Counselling nationwide.

This non-teaching management role focuses on collaboration with the National team and reporting to the Academic Manager to ensure seamless course outcomes for students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing the Training and Assessment Strategy (TAS) for updates and improvements
  • Maintaining compliance with relevant Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and National Code of Practice
  • Collaborating with the Director of Studies & Quality Assurance on course reviews, transition plans, and new course rollout
  • Ensuring training and assessments are aligned with TAS and maintain accurate mapping
  • Providing escalation support for students' academic enquiries and resolving issues
  • Implementing systems for timely completion of marking
  • Working closely with the Work Placement Team to provide industry training and assessment

For this position, we seek a candidate with at least five years current experience in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), one year's experience leading a training and assessment team, and five years current industry experience as a management professional.

Additional qualifications include a thorough understanding of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2019, experience delivering education to international students under the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018, and demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
