We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Greenkeeper to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course to a high standard, including various duties such as safe operation of mowing equipment, setting up courses for day's play, bunker maintenance, pest identification and control, horticultural gardening works, weed and pest management, and working within a team.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain all mowing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Set up courses for day's play, ensuring they are ready for members and public access golfers.
- Maintain bunkers to a high standard, ensuring they are safe and visually appealing.
- Identify and control pests, using chemical sprays as necessary.
- Perform horticultural gardening works, including weeding and pruning.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve course maintenance goals.
- Australian Driver's licence is mandatory.
- Ability to work a mandatory weekend roster.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of best work health and safety practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail across all facets of golf course management.
- Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (Greenkeepers only).
- Chemical spray certificate.
