We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Support Worker to join our team.

About the Role

As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily living activities under the guidance of our Registered Nurses.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and be part of an integrated team working within a clinical care framework to provide personalized care.

  • Support residents in exercising choice and independence.
  • Contribute to residents' overall quality of life, including physical, emotional, and lifestyle interests.
  • Implement clinical and care interventions delegated by the Registered Nurses.
  • Assist residents with personal care needs while encouraging independence.
  • Prioritize workloads effectively and deliver care with dignity and compassion.
  • Provide care with respect, kindness, and patience.
  • Respect residents' dignity, privacy, and choice.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with Aged Care Quality Standards and Quality of Care Principles.
  • A genuine interest in elderly care and desire to improve residents' lives.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Reliability to work to a roster with set shifts and basic computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and infection control.
  • Previous work experience within the aged care sector preferred but not essential.
  • NDIS clearance, Rights to Work, and up-to-date COVID & Flu vaccinations required.
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
