Supermarket Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Supermarket Team Member to join our team at Bernardi Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and service goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate the cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Stock and replenish shelves, rotate stock, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist with receiving and processing stock, including unloading and storing merchandise.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and service goals, and participate in visual merchandising and store displays.
- Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting and balancing cash, and securing the store.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
