Supermarket Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Supermarket Team Member to join our team at Bernardi Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions and maintaining a high level of cash handling skills.
- Stock and replenish shelves, rotating stock to ensure freshness and quality, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Other duties as required, including assisting with special events and promotions.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
