Supermarket Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Supermarket Team Member to join our dynamic team at Bernardi Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and service goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
- Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and ensure a visually appealing store environment.
- Assist with receiving and processing stock, including unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and service goals, including participating in visual merchandising and promotional activities.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
