Supermarket Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated and positive Supermarket Team Member to join our team at Bernardi's. As the face of our company, you will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and balance the cash register efficiently, providing polite and friendly service to customers.
- Stock, replenish, and rotate shelves and displays in a timely manner, ensuring a quality offering for our customers.
- Assist with tasks across all areas of the store, providing support where needed.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting with customer queries and needs.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and leaders, ensuring punctuality and open communication.
- Maintain a strong culture of safety, adhering to procedures and policies.
- Perform cleaning duties and collect trolleys, ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
- Well-presented, punctual, professional, and reliable.
- Flexible and adaptable to the ever-changing needs of a supermarket retail environment.
- Customer service focused.
- Willing to learn and achieve/exceed store benchmarks.
- Enthusiasm to work within a team environment and enjoy connecting with people.
Bernardi's is a dynamic family-owned company operating independent supermarkets in the Central West and Riverina areas of New South Wales. We focus on fresh food, delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers through quality produce, everyday lower prices, and supporting local growers and businesses.
We have been providing local residents with an independent grocery alternative since 1969, with the first store operating as a fruit market. Bernardi's now operate large format supermarkets and employ over 500 people in the Central West and Riverina.
