Job Opportunity: Sales Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, understanding their technical needs, and proposing tailored solutions.

About the Role:

The Sales Engineer will act as the technical expert for our products and services, working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining client relationships, conducting product demonstrations, and providing pre- and post-sales technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, service, and operations) to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and training to clients.
  • Assist with installations and oversee project implementations.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven 2-4 years of experience in a Sales Engineer or Technical Sales role.
  • Strong technical understanding of automation, packaging, and warehouse solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Business.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as required.
