Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Merchandise Planner to play a pivotal role in maximizing business profits through effective inventory management across varied portfolios. The ideal candidate will analyze data, forecast future sales based on stock accuracy, and enable brand growth through strategic planning while minimizing risk.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to regularly assess the impact on forward planning frameworks based on current market and key fashion trend direction. They will construct a well-balanced range framework offering the right mix of categories to match customer and demographic fashion requirements.

Key responsibilities include striving for continuous improvement in category departments, managing key relationships effectively to deliver business strategy, and possessing strong financial and commercial business acumen.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively.
  • Tertiary education in a creative field such as fashion, design, or graphics.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a retail buyer or relevant position.
