Job Summary:

We are seeking an analytical professional to join our team as a Stock Optimization Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time to maximize sales and improve stock flow through our business.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with planners to analyze sales trends and manage stock allocation, providing recommendations to optimize stock levels and product sell-through.
  • You will be responsible for allocating stock to stores in line with department plans and overall business strategy, ensuring all sizes are available across stores.
  • You will monitor delivery schedules and manage product flow, suggesting actions for stock movement between stores and online to maximize full-price sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocating stock to stores based on sales trends and inventory performance.
  • Analyzing sales data and providing recommendations to improve stock levels and product sell-through.
  • Managing stock allocation models to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability.
  • Monitoring delivery schedules and managing product flow to ensure timely delivery of stock.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong financial and numerical skills with the ability to interpret and act on trends.
  • Experience in retail with an understanding of how to action data to optimize stock levels.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
