Master ICT Sourcing Specialist

As a Strategic Category Manager, you will act as a business partner between Procurement and each business area related to ICT spend categories across external environments.
The role is responsible for developing and managing strategic category management in order to identify and maximise addressable procurement efficiencies, value generation, and market insight strategy for sourcing processes.
- Develop and manage strategic category management.
- Contribute to the development of annual and 5 year procurement strategic opportunities plans.
- Work with Sourcing Delivery team and Contract team to support sourcing and contract management activities.
- Optimise the supply base through leveraging solutions.
- Develop category plans and vendor strategies that effectively address business needs and improve supplier performance.
- Demonstrated communication skills across senior stakeholders and vendors.
- Extensive experience driving strategic outcomes and collaboration with peers and management.
- Experience of working on continuous value delivery and procurement efficiency programmes.
- Commercial or public sector experience desirable.
- Partnership and delivery experience across ICT categories.
A relevant degree, such as Supply Chain and Logistics or Information Technology, is required, along with a preferred tertiary qualification in commercial management and MCIPS certification.
