Job Title: Senior Human Resources Business Partner

This role is critical in supporting leaders and staff across the Northern Sydney Local Health District.

About the Role
  • The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will partner with managers to build workforce capability aligned with business goals.
  • This includes guiding leaders through performance, talent, and change management processes.
  • The Senior HRBP will advise on complex workforce matters including grievances, disputes, and industrial issues.
  • This position requires compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and organisational policies.
  • Key responsibilities also include promoting and embodying our CORE values – Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
  • The Senior HRBP will coach and support leaders to proactively manage people challenges and foster a strong team culture.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in Workforce/Human Resources management are required.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions including change management, industrial consultation, grievance and disciplinary management, job evaluation, recruitment and conflict resolution.
  • A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of public sector employment laws, Industrial Relations, EEO, Child Protection, WHS Legislation and relevant State Awards is essential.
