About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Management Specialist to join our Risk Transformation team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing projects, ensuring they align with our risk management strategies and compliance requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Program Director to ensure high-quality project execution, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. You will be responsible for tracking and finalising program/business cases and outcomes, conducting phase gate reviews, quality management, and document management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to track and finalise program/business cases and outcomes
  • Conduct phase gate reviews, quality management, and document management
  • Implement document management systems for easy access to governance documents
  • Provide oversight on policy or strategy changes affecting the program or project
  • Monitor project performance against funding investment plans
  • Track and analyse status, financials, and RAID for program/project feedback
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness in program reporting
Requirements
  • Proven expert knowledge of PMO best practice, including delivery frameworks, and processes
  • PMO experience within the banking/financial services sector is highly regarded
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring project team members
  • Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
