Senior Quantitative Analyst Job Description

This position is focused on the development and implementation of quantitative methodologies to support the launch of new financial products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating stress testing and margin methodologies for novel products and initiatives, contributing to the back-testing framework, and mentoring junior team members.

Main responsibilities include documenting new models or changes to existing models to a high standard and adhering to governance processes.

This role requires strong technical abilities, problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to present complex concepts to non-experts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience as a market risk quantitative analyst, tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline, and in-depth knowledge of exchange traded and OTC products, derivatives pricing, and market data and conventions.
