Financial Modelling Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Modelling Expert to support our global operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and refining comprehensive financial models that drive strategic decision-making.

You will lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing actionable data insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align strategies and drive growth.

This is a fast-paced, high-growth environment where adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced Financial Modelling: Build, maintain, and refine complex financial models to support global decision-making.
  • Budget & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts, ensuring precision using sophisticated models.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze business trends and performance metrics to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Process Optimisation: Develop and enhance standard financial modelling processes to drive consistency and alignment across the organisation.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify key risks and opportunities within financial models and forecasts, offering recommendations to minimise risks and maximise potential growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Financial Control, Sales, Data, and other teams to align strategies and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Finance Systems Development: Support the development and optimisation of financial systems to improve modelling functions and enhance model accuracy.
  • Performance Analysis: Manage advanced models and KPIs to monitor financial performance, delivering detailed analysis to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and CA/CPA accreditation are required.
  • Comprehensive experience in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Proven experience in building models from scratch, as well as BI and visualisation tools.
  • Experience in Financial Services/Fintech is highly preferable.
  • A commercial mindset with strong communication skills, able to partner with different departments across the business.
