Job Title: Community Engagement Specialist

Description:

As a storyteller, you will foster meaningful connections with our online community. You will report regularly on engagement metrics, stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure our communications drive lasting social change.

Our organization focuses on preventing all forms of violence against women and family violence in Victoria, working collaboratively with stakeholders to provide statewide leadership for social, institutional, organisational, and community change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging social media content focused on prevention and social change for 3-5 years
  • Effectively communicate complex topics related to the prevention of family violence/violence against women
  • Design and create visual content for various social media platforms using design software like Canva, Photoshop, or other similar tools
  • Develop targeted communications aimed at promoting awareness, attitudes, and behavior change
