Job Description:

As a Wellbeing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering engaging lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. Your goal will be to create an environment that promotes social interaction, emotional well-being, and a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement varied and purposeful lifestyle programs that cater to the unique preferences and goals of our residents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and emotional well-being.
  • Conduct assessments to identify residents' strengths and areas for improvement, and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality experiences for residents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification in Lifestyle and Leisure or Individual Support (Ageing), such as Certificate IV or Diploma.
  • Previous experience delivering lifestyle programs in aged care, preferably as a Wellbeing/Lifestyle Assistant.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR accreditation.
  • Police Check within 12 months.
