About the Role

We are seeking experienced casual Aged Care Support Workers to join our Centre-Based programs in Melbourne. As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Develop and facilitate group programs that meet clients' needs and goals.
  • Provide direct support for individuals during program delivery, including personal care, behavioural, physical, and social supports.
  • Create a positive environment for all clients, promoting both physical and emotional well-being.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV Disability/Aged Care or Individual Support, or currently working towards a relevant qualification.
  • A strong understanding of aged care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and computer skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively to create a positive culture.

What We Offer

Successful candidates will undergo a National Police Check, hold a valid WWCC, and NDIS Clearance. Full driver's license and travel between sites are also required.

Essential Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, you must possess a Certificate IV Disability/Aged Care or Individual Support, or be currently working towards a relevant qualification. You will also need to have a valid WWCC and NDIS Clearance.
