Job Description

Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain to support production and commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and optimize key supply chain functions across inventory, logistics, procurement, and team management.
  • Inventory Planning & Management: Develop and maintain accurate inventory forecasts, balance demand with stock, analyze consumption patterns, seasonal trends, and market dynamics, manage repairable and unserviceable inventory, monitor obsolescence risk, maintain stock accuracy via cycle counts and proactive replenishment.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee transportation, freight costs, customs compliance, and export controls, ensure timely delivery, support warehousing operations and material handling.
  • Purchasing & Procurement: Maintain supplier records, manage RFQs and supplier sourcing, maintain purchase orders, monitor subcontracted repair activities, evaluate vendor performance against quality, delivery, and cost standards.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, coach, and manage the supply chain team, manage staff qualifications, training, leave, and performance, provide backup support to related roles as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience (5+ years in supply chain).
  • Aviation industry experience, ideally with technical knowledge of gas turbine engines.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Solid knowledge of Incoterms, export controls, customs, and aviation regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data clearly for decision-making.
  • Proactive, reliable, with strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously while contributing as a team.
