Operations Manager Role

At Kuehne+Nagel, we have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned operations manager to take on a key account. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end warehousing operations, ensuring seamless logistics and supply chain management.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of freight processes, including import/export, compliance, and service delivery. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A background in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding operations is essential, as well as experience conducting business reviews and analyzing key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage overall performance of assigned operational accounts, ensuring alignment with financial and operational objectives.
  • Oversee warehouse activities, ensuring availability and maintenance of materials and equipment.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, driving productivity and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with internal support resources and external providers to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding operations.
  • Proven ability to manage operational performance for assigned key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of freight processes, including import/export, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain SOPs, ensuring consistency across regional and national teams.
