Job Summary:

This role involves working closely with our clinical systems support lead and nursing director health informatics to ensure the optimal, effective and safe use of clinical information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Assist in the operational management of our clinical information systems, focusing on system change management activities, business continuity and end-user support.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise and communicate with our digital health services partners to deliver our health informatics program, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Expert Knowledge: Provide expert knowledge and advice on our clinical systems, including business continuity processes, change management, business rules and system testing.
  • State-Wide Changes: Manage state-wide clinical systems changes in consultation with our digital partners, planning, maintaining registers, testing and communication.
  • Support and Training: Provide first-line support and training to staff in the use of our clinical information systems.
  • Data Analysis: Collect performance measures to analyse data, monitor and evaluate benefits realised by the introduction of our clinical systems.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate and plan health informatics team activities and general administrative tasks, as allocated by the clinical systems support lead and nursing director health informatics.
