Rural Health Care Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Rural Health Care Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients in rural areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients in rural settings
  • Develop and implement effective health programs to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of post-grad experience in Enrolled Nursing or equivalent
  • Proven experience working in rural or remote nursing environments
  • Competence in blood taking, wound care, and stores/ordering
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of QLD ieMR and proficiency in using FirstNet and PowerChart
  • Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health, or Mackay HHS
