Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care assistant to support clients in the Rockhampton region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Provide exceptional care and support to our clients, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.
  • Assisting Independence: Help clients develop skills and encourage independence, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
  • Personal Care: Attend to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing, and other daily activities.
  • Medication Support: Assist clients with medication requirements, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as part of a care team to provide holistic care to clients.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care is essential.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates are required.
  • A reliable roadworthy vehicle with current registration and comprehensive insurance is necessary for this role.
  • A Queensland driver's licence is mandatory.
  • Good computer and mobile device skills are advantageous.
  • Proof of immunity or willingness to become vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough) is required.
  • A Current Police Screening Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check) are also necessary.
