Job Title: Newborn Care Leader

This is a dynamic opportunity to shape the postnatal services landscape by leading a multidisciplinary team that delivers exceptional care to new mothers and their babies.

The successful candidate will possess clinical expertise, strong leadership abilities, and effective communication skills to coordinate and lead the team in providing high-quality patient care. They will also develop and implement models of care that are centred around the needs of new families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and lead a diverse team to provide personalized care to patients.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based models of care that prioritize the needs of new mothers and their babies.
  • Collaborate with other teams to review and improve midwifery practices and address inconsistencies between practice and policy.
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Midwife or Nurse and Midwife with the relevant professional body.
  • Current practicing certificate.
  • At least three years of post-registration experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills and highly developed communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
