Job Description

We are seeking an experienced commercial finance professional to join our team as a trusted business partner. In this highly visible and impactful role, you will use your commercial acumen and financial insight to drive strategy, improve performance, and deliver meaningful operational outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will work closely with operational leaders across the business to identify opportunities, shape strategy, and provide actionable insights that improve EBITDA performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing commercially focused insights to enable better decision-making and drive improved financial outcomes
  • Building and refining financial models, dashboards, and scenario planning tools to support operational performance
  • Leading workforce analytics for Residential Care, including care minute modelling and roster benchmarking
  • Supporting pricing and sales strategy for Residential Care, including P&L impact analysis
  • Developing performance reporting tools and leading monthly reviews with operational leaders
  • Conducting analytics to identify savings opportunities, benchmark performance, and support procurement processes

You will be an analytical thinker, confident communicator, and trusted advisor who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will balance commercial results with the needs of residents and stakeholders, ensuring that your decisions deliver both financial and social value.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • CA/CPA qualification with 5+ years in commercial finance, business partnering, or similar roles
  • Advanced skills in financial modelling, forecasting, and decision support
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including influencing senior leaders
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Passion for improving outcomes for veterans and seniors

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with RAD/DAP strategies, concessional care revenue frameworks, and capital grants, as well as experience in workforce analytics and using software tools.
