Job Summary

Symbio Laboratories is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Management Officer to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Sample Management team, you will be responsible for receiving, logging-in, and distributing samples to our laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receipt of samples and the entry of relevant details into our laboratory information management system (LIMS)
  • Liaising with clients to clarify information in respect to their samples
  • Organisation of sample collection kits and their dispatch to clients as required
  • Assistance with sample preparation as required
  • Assistance with management of sample storage and disposal
  • Packing and dispatching items to other laboratories and clients

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Possess data entry and administration skills
