Job Title: Colour Sample Production Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Colour Sample Production Specialist to join our team at AkzoNobel in Melbourne. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the production, spraying, and labeling of colour sample panels, as well as powder sample production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full cycle of spraying and labeling panels, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of requests to meet customer service demands.
  • Produce powder and sample panels for the Specification and Sales teams.
  • Utilize lab equipment to produce powder, ensuring accurate colour matching and powder re-creation for client specifications.
  • Maintain clear communication with both customer service and specification teams to ensure alignment on priorities and deadlines.
  • Ensure all samples and powders meet quality standards and specifications before release to customers or internal teams.
  • Manage lab and production equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and readiness for consistent use.
Requirements:
  • Experience with spraying, labeling, and powder production in a manufacturing or lab environment.
  • Basic knowledge of lab equipment and colour matching processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with multiple internal teams.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads and adapt to changing demand.
