The Palliative Care Outreach Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing community presence and reputation by coordinating volunteer programs, events, and fundraising activities. This position requires developing strong relationships and partnerships within the community to ensure seamless access to palliative care services.
">This includes project managing fundraising strategies and delivering on goals, as well as creating impactful communications and content for various channels, such as web, digital/multimedia, and brand management. Effective communication is key to this role, which also involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to build enduring partnerships.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Coordinate volunteer program, building strong relationships and partnerships within the community.

Requirements:
">- Previous experience in coordinating programs or team and operational management.
- Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and review.
- Experience in recruitment and selection techniques and ability to assess performance.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to develop long-term collaborative relationships.
Desirable Skills:
">- Computer literacy - Microsoft Office suite and clinical electronic databases.
- Ability to communicate about death and dying, wellness and understanding of complexities of working in the field.
