Senior Care and Support Professional

This role involves providing high-quality, person-centered care in clients' homes. The ideal candidate will support clients with complex needs, enhancing their daily lives through assistance with mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, hygiene, and domestic tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering palliative care and support for clients with complex needs
  • Assisting with mobility, meal prep, medication prompts, hygiene, and domestic tasks
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in client health and wellbeing
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with care teams

A reliable vehicle and local area knowledge are essential due to the travel component of this role.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support
  • At least one year of experience in home care or community support
  • Proven experience in complex or palliative care
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Australian Driver's Licence & comprehensively insured car
  • Smartphone for scheduling and communication
  • National Police Check
  • Fully COVID-19 vaccinated
