As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to our elderly residents. This involves assisting with daily life activities, promoting independence, and enhancing overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and a sense of community
  • Assist residents with self-care activities, including grooming, bathing, and dressing, while respecting their dignity and autonomy
  • Utilise mechanical lifting aids to ensure safe and effective resident mobility
  • Support residents during meal times and engage them in social activities that promote physical and mental stimulation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the aged care sector
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to provide evidence of COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations, ensuring a safe working environment
