The Role

We are seeking a Construction Manager to join our infrastructure projects in Sydney, NSW. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will perform detailed reviews and analyses of cost plans for large complex projects, including full measurement and rating exercises. You will also prepare cost plans in a format that facilitates optioneering and easily convert them to package budgets and work breakdown structures.
  • You will complete detailed cost reporting forms and possess a comprehensive understanding of source cost and budget information for project reports.
  • You will prepare detailed and reliable forecasts of cash inflow and outflow for complex projects.
About You
  • You hold a construction management, building, or engineering degree or equivalent, coupled with extensive post-graduate experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
  • You have already obtained or are working towards MRICS certification.
  • You possess comprehensive knowledge of contract management principles and practices, program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation, and administration.
  • You can articulate quality standards and expectations to relevant internal and external stakeholders applicable to your project or function.
  • You demonstrate ability to work methodically and regulatedly in planning and executing projects using appropriate controls.
  • You deliver agreed outcomes ensuring projects are managed within budget and time frames.
