Role Overview

This role is part of our Corporate Audit Division, which provides independent, objective assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve the overall control environment of State Street Corporation and its subsidiaries.

You will be responsible for working on audit projects, specifically focusing on fieldwork and testing the internal control environment of State Street Corporation. You will demonstrate proficiency in evaluating and testing internal controls, assessing risks, and applying audit skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of audits, specifically focusing on fieldwork and testing the internal control environment of State Street Corporation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in evaluating and testing internal controls, assess risks and in applying audit skills.
  • Complete audit work papers and memoranda by documenting audit tests and findings in an automated workpaper program.
  • Communicate audit progress and findings by preparing reports and providing information in meetings.
  • Develop and write-up audit findings and make recommendations for review by the Senior Auditor and Audit Manager.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Alternative Risk functions and/or Business Administration.
  • CISA, ACA, CIA or other applicable industry recognized certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years direct experience in executing assessment of business process and technology/ITGC risks and controls, testing design and effectives of mitigating controls.
