About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operational Risk Advisor to join our Chief Operating Office. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for strengthening, embedding, and improving risk and compliance capabilities and outcomes in the control environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and adhere to operational and compliance risk management frameworks
  • Manage day-to-day incidents and issues, including root cause analysis, identifying and implementing control improvements, and assessing compliance implications
  • Support with risk compliance activities, including thematic deep dives, compliance self-assessments, maintenance of compliance obligations, controls implementation, and assessments
  • Identify and manage root cause analysis of issues and incidents to drive control environment insights and implement control improvements
What You'll Need
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Economics, Law, or related disciplines
  • Experience with compliance and operational risk frameworks, financial services laws, obligations, and familiarity with policy requirements
  • Controls assurance and/or design and implementation experience (for both manual operational and technology controls)
  • Experience in banking/financial services industry in risk management or audit
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, analyse data, risks, and issues to solve problems and recommend actions
