Job Overview

The company seeks a Senior Associate to join their Dispute Resolution & Restructuring & Insolvency practice. The successful candidate will work closely with leading partners, including Alex Wolff and Peter Lucarelli.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a highly experienced team that advises clients on complex commercial disputes, class actions, and restructuring & insolvency matters.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as a Senior Associate across a range of matters in commercial litigation, with relevant experience in a top-tier or leading international law firm preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on complex commercial disputes, class actions, and restructuring & insolvency matters
  • Work closely with leading partners to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and take responsibility for these relationships
  • Mentor and share experiences with junior team members
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience as a Senior Associate across a range of matters in commercial litigation
  • Relevant experience in a top-tier or leading international law firm (preferred)
  • A strong client service focus
  • A commitment to high standards, including strong drafting and commercial skills
  • Business development aptitude, interest, and experience
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • An ability to develop strong relationships with clients and take responsibility for these relationships
  • An ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity
  • An ability to work well in a team environment (including across Australian offices and internationally)
  • A willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences
  • Relevant legal qualifications
