As part of our diverse team, you will contribute to delivering a proactive service focused on improving outcomes for workers with mental injuries. You will collaborate with claims operational teams and other departments to develop and implement a person-centred Mental Injury Recovery & Return to Work strategy.

Your responsibilities will include implementing the Mental Injury Recovery & Return to Work strategy, working collaboratively to make recommendations that improve recovery and return-to-work outcomes, and facilitating meetings with stakeholders to support recovery and achieve safe and sustainable returns to work.

You will also be responsible for analysing and identifying key risks and challenges, as well as mitigation strategies or escalation strategies. Additionally, you will influence claims outcomes through active contribution to case management activity and provide coaching and training to colleagues on mental injury and specific recovery needs.

We are seeking a dedicated professional with strong injury management capabilities, particularly in return to work, mental health, and medically complex cases. Demonstrated experience in mental health injury management, especially high-risk significant injury claims, is highly desirable. A good understanding of relevant statutory acts and associated regulations and guidelines is also required.
