Automotive Training Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Training Manager to join our team at Programmed in Sunshine, Victoria. This role offers a great balance of hands-on technical expertise and the opportunity to shape the future of training and development within the company.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs for internal employees, external customers, and partners on the use of lubricants, oils, and associated products.
- Create a variety of training materials including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and hands-on workshops.
- Assess training needs across the organisation and tailor programs to meet both current and future business needs.
- Lead the development of training schedules, workshops, and events, ensuring they are engaging, effective, and aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and track the success of training programs, gathering feedback and measuring results to ensure continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the training content remains current and relevant.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, R&D, and Operations to ensure that training initiatives support business goals.
- Mentor and guide other trainers and team members in the delivery of technical training across the business.
- Work with customers and partners to provide tailored technical training solutions that enhance product knowledge and usage.
- Facilitate certification programs for employees and customers to validate technical competence/related products.
- A degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field.
- Certification or training in adult learning principles or instructional design.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms, LMS (Learning Management Systems), and digital training tools.
- Proven experience in technical training or a similar role within Learning and Development.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and instructional skills.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences, from internal teams to external customers.
- Ability to assess training needs and design tailored solutions that meet business and technical objectives.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver training on schedule.
- A results-driven mindset, with the ability to measure and analyze the impact of training programs.
