About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and flexible casual Leisure Services Officers to join our team at the City of Greater Geelong. In this role, you will provide high-quality reception services across various centres, promoting and selling programs, services, and memberships while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and quality service to customers and complete reception and administrative functions.
  • Promote and sell Leisure Centre programs, services, and memberships.
  • Assist in promoting, event ticketing, and sales of Recreation venue competitions, programs, services, events, and activities.
  • Manage merchandise and retail area stock and displays.
  • Conduct periodic checks of facilities to ensure only confirmed bookings and paying casual hire customers are using them.
About You
  • Flexibility to meet the varied demands of the Leisure and Recreation Centres, including availability for morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff and client groups.

This role requires a current Working with Children's Check and CPR certification.
