We are seeking a skilled Project Commercial Specialist to manage the commercial aspects of a major construction project.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Contractor Management:
  • Lead the commercial management of contractors operating under NEC forms of contract.
  • Monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Manage the variation process, change orders, and ensure disputes are minimised and resolved effectively.

Subcontract Procurement:

">
  • Oversight of procurement processes for specialist subcontracts.
  • Development and execution of subcontract procurement strategies, ensuring timely tendering, negotiation, and awarding of subcontract packages.

Candidate Requirements:

">
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in project commercial management within the construction or energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of NEC forms of contract and cost management processes.

This role will involve working closely with the Project Controls team to ensure accurate cost management and reporting.
