Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Officer. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems and processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, investigating and responding to accounts payable queries, managing the accounts payable inbox, reconciling vendor statements accurately, assisting with payment runs, creating and maintaining vendors, providing backup for bank account reconciliations, and handling various ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Requirements
  • Strong data entry skills – this is essential
  • Experience in Accounts Payable, data entry, or bookkeeping is a plus, but fresh graduates with a keen learning attitude are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Clear and open communication skills to effectively interact with our AU team and external suppliers.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Yardi is a bonus, but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to self-assess your work.
  • A natural flair for problem-solving.
  • A basic understanding of Australian tax (GST).
  • A keen to learn attitude and a strong desire to develop your finance career.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • A down-to-earth, adaptable, and proactive personality who enjoys taking ownership and contributing to long-term growth.
