About the Role

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation is seeking qualified General Practitioners to join our team in Alice Springs, NT. As a General Practitioner with our organization, you will provide culturally safe and comprehensive primary health care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical and culturally safe care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to optimize the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
  • Contribute to chronic disease care, health checks, preventative health care, health promotion, and routine general practice consultations.
Requirements
  • General Practitioner qualification and registration with the relevant medical board.
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a rural or remote setting.
  • Culturally competent and able to work effectively with Aboriginal communities.
