Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Ability Action Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
- Treatment Goal Formulation: Interpret assessment findings to formulate treatment goals that align with participants' needs and objectives.
- Professional Development: Participate in regular professional development opportunities, including formal 1:1 supervision and group supervision, to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, and Behaviour Support Practitioners, to provide comprehensive support to participants.
