Project Setup Specialist

As a highly organized and proactive Project Setup Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are set up for success from the initial contract phase through to securing building permits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Administration: Manage and administer pre-construction contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing documentation, managing client inquiries, and coordinating pre-sale activities.
  • Plan Review & Compliance: Review architectural drawings, construction plans, and specifications for accuracy and compliance with local building codes and zoning regulations.
  • Customer Service: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates on permit status, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Liaise with regulatory agencies, internal teams (sales, construction, etc.), and external stakeholders (architects, engineers) to facilitate smooth project progression.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues or discrepancies that may arise during the contract or permitting process.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience in contract administration, pre-sales support, and customer service roles.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a customer-focused approach.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficiency in using permit tracking systems and standard office software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in the residential construction industry.
