Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Regional HSE Specialist to support the safe and compliant operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environment policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Lead investigations of incidents and support root cause analysis to enhance safety performance.
  • Provide strategic Health, Safety, and Environment support to operational sites.
  • Coach frontline leaders and personnel to embed a proactive safety culture and foster a positive work environment.
  • Deliver Health, Safety, and Environment training, audits, and assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to Federal and State regulations and standards for environmental responsibility.
  • Drive safety performance through data analysis, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Facilitate environmental reporting and regulatory submissions to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with site leaders on emergency preparedness and response planning to mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the organization in Health, Safety, and Environment forums when required.
  • Manage health-related matters, including work and non-work-related injuries to promote a healthy work environment.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in a mid-level or senior Health, Safety, and Environment role, ideally within explosives and dangerous goods (preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Health, Safety, and Environment Regulations and Standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills to drive business outcomes.
  • Certification in Health, Safety, and Environment (e.g. ISO Lead Auditor, Training and Assessment) (preferred).
  • Relevant Security Clearance.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to support operational sites.
