About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated medical professional to join our team as an Advanced Trainee. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in Obstetric Medicine and gain experience in caring for women and families with complications in pregnancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Care for women and families with complications in pregnancy
  • Link overall care of chronic medical conditions as a general physician
  • Develop excellent theoretical knowledge and clinical judgement
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) with patients, their families, medical and non-medical colleagues
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing Advanced Training education, research and teaching
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Completed FRACP Part 1
  • Excellent theoretical knowledge and clinical judgement
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team - diligence, punctuality, organization, record keeping, time management, problem solving skills, team work
