About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our General and Acute Medicine team at ClearCompany. As a key member of our medical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise across various medical units, including General Medical Units, the Acute Medical Unit, and other related services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to the multidisciplinary team regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and patient management strategies for complex medical cases.
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and quality assurance activities to continuously improve patient care standards and operational efficiencies.
  • Foster a collaborative learning environment by delivering regular educational sessions, lectures, and bedside teaching to medical students, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other medical leaders to develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Australian Fellowship (FRACP - General Medicine) or be eligible to register for Fellowship by January 2025.
  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
  • Extensive clinical experience relevant to work in General Medicine and a demonstrated high standard of practice.
  • Experience in research activities an advantage.
