Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across acute and primary care settings
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of population health initiatives
  • Provide professional leadership and governance for medical practitioners, with a focus on medical workforce, patient safety, and quality improvement
Requirements
  • Medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Considerable experience in a senior management role in the health sector
  • Postgraduate qualifications commensurate with clinical duties and medical administration role
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA) or evidence of progression towards Fellowship; or Post Graduate Health Management qualifications is desirable
