Job Title: Demand Planner

At Techtronic Industries, we are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by analyzing and forecasting demand for our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage demand inputs and ensure accurate forecasting
  • Collaborate with Business Unit Account managers to gain account intelligence
  • Provide accurate product lifecycle input, including new product launches, transitions, and deletions
  • Collaborate with key customers to align assumptions and drive business growth
  • Manage risks and opportunities to the plan, including costed S&OP input
  • Coordinate the handover process between S&OP and S&OE
  • Facilitate the portfolio management process, providing key outputs for decision making
  • Coordinate the budget volume build by Business Unit
  • Deliver continuous improvement initiatives to improve the demand and overall supply chain process
Key Objectives:
  • Delivery of the Demand and Portfolio processes within S&OP for BU
  • Improve forecast accuracy and reduce weighted mean absolute percentage error (WMAPE)
  • Reduce forecast overrides year-over-year
  • Improve service metrics as defined by the S&OP process
  • Reduce working capital (inventory) and improve stock service
Requirements:
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L relationships
  • 3+ years of experience in Demand planning discipline in Tier 1 or 2 companies
  • 3+ years of experience managing the Demand process in an S&OP or IBP environment
  • Proficiency in Demand system platforms
  • Demonstrated customer focus and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Product portfolio administration experience
  • Experience in external and internal collaboration
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel mandatory)
