At Techtronic Industries, we are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing demand inputs, system health, and statistical forecast generation. You will work closely with business unit account managers to gather account intelligence and collaborate with key customers to align assumptions. Your key objectives will include delivering the demand and portfolio processes within S&OP for the business unit, reducing forecast overrides, and improving service metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage demand inputs and system health
  • Generate statistical forecasts and collaborate with business unit account managers
  • Collaborate with key customers to align assumptions
  • Manage risks and opportunities to the plan
  • Coordinate the handover process between S&OP and S&OE
  • Deliver continuous improvement initiatives to improve the demand and overall supply chain process

Key Objectives:

  • Delivery of the demand and portfolio processes within S&OP for the business unit
  • YOY reduction of forecast overrides
  • Service metrics as defined by the S&OP process
  • Working capital (inventory) – SS reduction
  • Forecast accuracy to supplier

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L relationships
  • 3+ years of demand planning experience in a Tier 1 or 2 company
  • 3+ years of managing the demand process in an S&OP or IBP environment
  • Proficiency in demand system platforms
  • Demonstrated customer focus and delivery of CI to improve demand outcomes
