Job Title:

Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

The Chief Information Security Officer will lead the Enterprise Security Management function, overseeing cybersecurity, physical security, privacy, and personnel security.

To succeed in this role, you must have demonstrable experience in operational excellence, delivering results, and business acumen, with the ability to set and evolve security measures to protect and its staff.

You will develop and strengthen relationships with security professionals across APRA's peer agencies and key Government centers, collaborating closely with the CIO, CRO, and Executive Team to align security requirements with business objectives and compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop staff professionally, identifying and fostering potential talent within the team and division.

- Model inclusive leadership behaviors and instill an open culture where divergent views are shared and respected.

- Develop, implement, and monitor 's security plans, policies, procedures, and systems across its activities, while managing ongoing and day-to-day activities.

- Build a meaningful security culture.

- Provide strategic advice and support to Executive and Management teams on protective security arrangements for.

Operational Responsibilities

- Monitor and respond to security threats and incidents via 's Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC).

- Manage personnel security vetting and liaison with AGSVA.

- Monitor and uplift 's physical security setup.

- Ensure ongoing compliance with Privacy obligations.

- Deliver initiatives to meet target PSPF and Essential 8 maturity levels.

- Provide security advice on projects and in Business as Usual (BAU).
